Vigsel på Trolltunga 2025

Kommune arrangerer vigsel på Trolltunga 20. juni, dagen som vert kalla Sommarsolverv (når “sola snur”). For dei som har lyst å gifta seg på Trolltunga på årets lengste dag, er det no mogeleg å melde si interesse til oss.

Vigsle vert gjennomført mellom kl. 14.00 - 19.00 den 20. juni.

Prøvingsattest frå Skatteetaten

Vi treng ein norsk prøvingsattest frå paret, som viser at det ikkje er hindringar for giftemålet. Norske par får vanlegvis prøvingsattesten sin raskt.

For dei som er frå andre land, tek det som regel lengre tid å få dette dokumentet frå Skatteetaten. Det tek ofte minst 5 - 6 veker fordi dei ikkje har norsk personnummer og dette kan difor ikkje gå digitalt av den grunn. Presiserer at sakshandsamar ikkje kan hjelpe til med å skaffe gyldig norsk prøvingsattest, alle par må ordne dette sjølv. Utanlandske statsborgarar må kanskje også verta godkjent for vigsel i eige land, før dei kan få ein norsk prøvingsattest frå Skatteetaten i Norge.

Det som er viktig og som gjeld for alle par, er at dette dokumentet kun er gyldig i fire - 4 - månader frå den vert utstedt av Skatteetaten. Ein må difor tilpasse tidspunktet for søknaden sin til Skatteetaten, slik at datoen for vigselen er innanfor det tidsrommet som gjeld.

Gyldig prøvingsattest utstedt i Norge er eit absolutt krav, og antal par vert avgrensa. Her vil “førstemann til mølla” prinsippet gjelde om det vert stor interesse.

Om datoen

Vi i kommunen ser fram til fredag 20. juni, og gler oss til å treffa dei som har lyst til å vera med på dette kjekke arrangementet vårt i år. Vigslar for dagen vil vera ordføraren vår, og vi vil vera tilstades frå kl. 14.00 til kl. 19.00 den 20. juni. Ved å ta ettermiddagen i bruk, unngår vi dei lange køane av folk som vil ut på sjølve tunga på dagtid.

Vi anbefalar å starte turen tidleg og å reservere parkering på P3 (Topp) i god tid. Vêret kan skifte raskt, så kle og sko deg etter forholda. Turen til Trolltunga er lang og krevjande, og du må gå begge vegar. Hugs å ta med nok mat og drikke til heile turen. Det kan også vere lurt å ha med eit lite telt.

Dei som skal gifte seg lurer ofte på om dei må ha med seg forlovarar eller vitne. Det er ikkje nødvendig - vi som er på arbeid for kommunen der oppe kan vera vitne i seremonien. Det vert ikkje laga noko form for rekkefølge for brudepara. Vi tek det etterkvart der oppe, det fungerer heilt fint !

Vi reknar med at det er fotograf til stades på Trolltunga denne dagen, slik at vigselen vert foreviga på fine bilete. Dette vert uansett ei sak mellom fotograf og dei som gifter seg. Kommune har ikkje ansvar når det gjeld dette.

Vedrørande betaling

Kommunen tek ikkje betalt for vigsel på Trolltunga denne datoen og har berre ansvar for sjølve vigselen. Paret må dekke alle andre utgifter sjølv.

Ullensvang Municipality will arrange a wedding-ceremony on Trolltunga on June 20, between. The summer solstice is when the “sun turns” - and this year it is the night between June 20 and 21. For those who want to get married on Trolltunga on the longest day of the year, it is now possible to register their interest with the municipality.

The wedding ceremony will be conducted at Trolltunga between 14:00 and 19:00 on June 20th.

Marriage certificate from the Norwegian Tax Administration (Skatteetaten)

We need a Norwegian marriage certificate from the couple, which shows that there are no obstacles to the marriage. Norwegian couples usually receive their marriage certificate quickly.

For those from other countries, it usually takes longer to get this document from the Norwegian Tax Administration. It often takes at least 5 - 6 weeks because they do not have a Norwegian personal identity-number, and this cannot be done digitally for that reason. Clarifies that case manager cannot help obtain a valid Norwegian test certificate, all couples must arrange this themselves ! Foreign citizens may also need to be approved for marriage in their own country before they can receive a Norwegian marriage certificate from the Norwegian Tax Administration

What is important and applies to all couples is that this document is only valid for four - 4 - months from the date it is issued by the Norwegian Tax Administration. Therefore, you must adjust the time of your application to the Norwegian Tax Administration so that the date of the wedding is within the applicable period.

A valid marriage certificate issued in Norway is an absolute requirement, and the number of couples is limited. Here, the “first come, first served” principle will apply if there is a lot of interest.

Regarding this date

We in Ullensvang Municipality are looking forward to Friday, June 20, and are looking forward to meeting those who want to join us at this great event. By using the afternoon, we avoid the long queues of people who want to go out on Trolltunga.

We hope for a warm and nice day, but we cannot promise you that. Everyone must therefore also take into account worse weather, and must dress and wear shoes accordingly. It is a relatively long walk to Trolltunga and all couples must walk - both to Trolltunga and back. Everyone must also bring food and enough to drink for their own use.

The mayor is performing the weddings, and we will be present up there from between 14:00 and 19:00 on June 20. We encourage people to start the trip early enough, and book parking up at P3 (Topp.)
It may be a good idea to have a small tent with you!

Those who are getting married often wonder if they need to bring their own witnesses. It is not necessary - we who work for Ullensvang municipality up there, can be witnesses in the ceremony.
There is no order for the weddings, many want to be first or early, but some will also have to wait for their turn. We will sort everything out, and it works perfectly!

Photographer of the day

We expect that there will be a photographer present at Trolltunga on this day, so that the wedding will be remembered in beautiful pictures. This is in any case a matter between the photographer and the couples getting married. Ullensvang Municipality is not responsible regarding this.

Regarding payment

Ullensvang Municipality does not charge for weddings at Trolltunga on this date, and we only take responsibility for the wedding itself. All other expenses must be covered by the couple themselves.
